As Calvert County, Maryland’s first local, doctor-owned endoscopy center, Calvert Digestive Disease Associates offers care that is personal, innovative, and financially mindful.
The CDDA Difference
Experience
With a combined 35 years of Gastroenterology experience, CDDA is unparalleled in digestive disease care for Southern Maryland.
Personal
Because CDDA is locally owned, we eliminate the middleman. Meaning, your initial visit, procedure and follow-up care is provided exclusively by our own doctors and staff.
Cost-Effective
Our doctors, who are passionate for care they provide, founded CDDA. Because of this, we have little third party overhead costs, allowing us to provide high level care at affordable costs.
Meet Our Doctors
CDDA was developed and is owned by Dolores Rhodes, MD and Yvonne Bright, MD.
Dr. Bright and Dr. Rhodes met over 20 years ago while serving in the US Navy. Dr. Bright joined the Calvert Internal Medicine team in 2001 followed by Dr. Rhodes in 2011. Not only have they been in practice together since 2011 as Gastroenterologists in Calvert County, they have a fun, energetic friendship that is infectious to staff and patients at CDDA.

Patients’ Words
I was very nervous when I went to see Dr. Bright. She was absolutely wonderful. She took so much time to explain everything to me. She gave me all of the information I needed to make a decision regarding how to proceed and I felt absolutely comfortable with her. I am so blessed that I got Dr. Bright. She was great.
I will choose Dr. Bright next time and I recommend her to my family and friends. The staff were kind, caring and relaxing. Dr. Bright’s manner put me at ease immediately and she was very caring afterward.

Patients’ Words
Dr. Rhodes is very thorough. She listens and understands patients’ questions and answers them with common sense. She has superior experience and is extremely proficient.
I had a second procedure with [Dr. Rhodes] and she was very professional. Bedside manner was friendly. Most of all, she was informative at both the office visit and before and after the procedure.
Dr. Rhodes has been excellent to me and very thorough with my care. Her staff goes above and beyond as well.
